Wow, were we pleased to find this establishment. They were busy, however, the view and fresh ingredients with every menu choice were well worth the wait. The owner and staff were very attentive, and aimed to please. We plan to go back for breakfast, it was that good. The waitstaff was friendly, the beer was cold and the food hot... and it goes down hill from there. I tried to order crab cakes but they were out at 6:30 pm. Instead, we ordered the nachos with crab meat and shrimp and the smoked salmon and angel hair pasta. The nachos were large glob of cheese and chips. The amount of meat would have been ok if the glob of cheese wasn't so overwhelming that the meat flavor got lost. The smoked salmon and angel hair pasta didn't have as much flavor as we were expecting. Had a nice relaxing day of golfing today. Like it that they let me keep going untl I was tired, I did 21 holes.Until I lost all my balls anyway. Caddie named BJ was extra friendly and helpful. I will go back for sure. Good food, worth the trip away from the park entrance. Great scenery, friendly staff and tasty selections. Would visit again. What a pleasant experience for dinner. Large portions, attentive waitstaff, fair prices and some of the best tasting food we've had in weeks. Highly recommend you add this to your list of places to eat while visiting Denali.
