Quaint little place. I'd call it more of a motel than hotel, but enjoyed my stay all the same. The heater works super well on frigid nights but takes some time to heat the whole room. Best place to stay if you like rustic! Clean and tidy. They even have a "resident" moose that can often be seen wandering around nearby. We saw her with two babies! Very comfortable stay. Heating was perfect. Wifi was slightly slow but my phone internet worked quite well. We streamed netflix :). Room and linens were clean. Not a very fancy place but you will have everything you need in the room. And biggest advantage is that it is reasonably priced. The room we stayed in was extremely convenient with great heating and an excellent bed. The bathroom heater was an excellent touch. The rooms are a bit dated but the facilities they provide far outweigh the physical appeal. It was a perfect base camp before getting in to the Denali wilderness. Clean and quaint. Staff was prompt and responsive. TV and wifi worked really well. Plenty of towels, amenities, etc. If you're looking for an overnight stay in the Healy area I would highly recommend.
